Obviously, choosing a tattoo design should be carefully considered - after all, you'll have the image on your skin forever. But choosing a tattoo artist should be at least as thoughtful. Because if you just go to any studio, you may end up with a design on your body that you had imagined a little differently. And then yes, you'll be walking around with a "messed up tattoo" like the ones we'll show you in the following pages. These fails are so cringe worthy!

"I went to a friend of my roommate at the time to get a jellyfish tattoo. He did a sketch and it looked really good. He drew it on graph paper, but he said it was just for guidance because it was easier for him to draw that way. Of course, no problem. I was 19 years old, I was well protected and I thought he had some kind of allergy because he sniffed a lot. But it turned out that he was addicted to cocaine and was taking pills, under the influence of which he ended up tattooing the design, including the checkered paper, on my rib. [...] In the end, I had to get covered up for 14 hours and vowed never to get the other side tattooed."
