Christina Applegate: First Public Appearance Since MS Diagnosis
In August 2021, Christina Applegate shared that she has been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS). Now she made her first public appearance since then
The Married... With Children actress Christina Applegate was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS) back in 2021 and hasn't made a public appearance ever since. She has addressed her health condition and recently announced she was preparing for her first public outing since the diagnosis. She received the diagnosis while filming the third season of Dead to me alongside her co-star Linda Cardellini.
While being honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, she made an emotional speech and thanked the most important people in her life:
Applegate didn't appear on the Hollywood Walk of Fame alone – she brought co-star Linda Cardellini, Married…with Children co-stars Katey Sagal and David Faustino, and Dead to Me creator Liz Feldman. Since her condition doesn't allow her to stand for a long time, Sagal assisted her during her speech. The actress got emotional during her speech while thanking her daughter for being “blessed every day that I get to wake up and take you to school…thank you for standing by me through all of this.“
